Having nothing to do with the broadcast--which, as mentioned, was ruined with an attempt to match English with German perfectly--I saw Sting somewhere in Italy around the time he was bigger than Miles Davis (or so Davis noticed at some point in his career). "Russians" is the only song I remember from the show--that, and our nearly getting trampled (we essentially went out of having nothing better to do). After signing with the USMC, so I could party for months on end at the expense of foreign nations and the American taxpayer (missions accomplished) we signed-up to see Sting (I think we'd docked in La Spezia) so took a bus for a significantly long trip to wherever that concert occurred (that I don't remember anymore, nor did I ever ask if I even noticed, but it could still be online somewhere).

Due to their being no bathrooms on the bus--something no one told us prior to the trip--this sailor or jarhead who couldn't hold it anymore ran out of the bus one time we were stuck in traffic and let fly with everyone watching (anyone who's been to Europe knows how normal that actually is) and if you can't comprehend getting trampled at a public event it can happen easily. We were the biggest people at the show, we were heads above a lot of other people there (and probably way taller than Sting) but once the crowd--that was actually nice, it was Sting after all--once people started going one way we had no choice but to go that way, too. Despite our being buff and well-fed and always up for beating some serious ass--so is why the U.S. rarely loses--it doesn't take much to get knocked down, no matter how big you are, once you get trapped due to poor planning on the behalf of others, you're going to be in trouble; luckily, the throng never really went buck-wild or panicked or it would have probably been a tragedy--especially for all the little people around us--and probably with a lot of bursting bladders except for that guy who had already gone to the bathroom with entire families watching aw
